Summit Fleet is a leading provider of fleet management and leasing and have offices located nationally with this position being in our Head Office at Rydalmere, NSW.
Summit Fleet is looking for an experienced, organised and proactive Finance & Credit Analyst / Officer with finance and commercial credit analyst experience who has clear and concise communication skills both written and verbal.
Whilst not essential, experience in motor vehicle / equipment finance would be highly regarded. Reporting to the National Manager Credit & Finance you will have a flexible approach, strong time management and organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
Job tasks and responsibilities
It is a requirement of this position that you are able to support the Credit and Finance teams and duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide a high level of quality service by undertaking credit risk assessments of new and existing customers for all facilities.
- Analyse financial information including audited financial statements, management accounts and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the negotiation and preparation of lease and other related documentation.
- Communicate with internal staff in relation to client credit risks and outstanding debtors.
- Liaise with external third parties in relation to the enforcement / collection of outstanding debts.
- Assist the finance team in their day to day duties.
- Any other duties as required by the National Manager Credit & Finance.
Training and support will be provided within the role.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will be a detail orientated person with problem solving skills. You are able to work unsupervised and be capable of handling multiple tasks with the initiative to ensure consistent follow up when necessary.
The following skills and experience are required:
- Commercial credit analysis experience.
- Motor vehicle/equipment finance experience - preferred but not essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer and Microsoft Office skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Miles software skills - not essential.
