We are currently recruiting for a unique & exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Manager to join this well established, global leader with a comprehensive range of products and services that cater to various industries.
Based in Hallam, this opportunity is a temporary role to commence immediately for approximately 12 weeks, with the potential view for permanency.
As the Credit Manager you will be overseeing a team of 6, responsible for managing customers and stakeholders, optimizing processes and driving transformation both locally and internationally. With a hands -on approach, you will directly manage your own ledger, ensuring efficient operations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage operations for both Australia and NZ, overseeing a diverse portfolio of high volume accounts for both sales and service based accounts
- Lead the team of Credit Controllers, including hands on management of allocated ledgers, split geographically. Ensure staff have the necessary knowledge and training.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across relevant departments to optimise credit processes, drive change and enhance communication internally and externally
- Implement strategies to improve credit risk management, collection efficiency, and customer relationships, ensuring compliance with multi-metric organisational standards
- Managing recommendations for customer accounts including credit hold, credit limit changes, order release and possible mercantile action
- Preparing month end reports and analysis to drive actions and accountabilities across the business
- Managing credit policies, procedures and workflows, aligned with group policies on credit management and process standard
- Proven experience in credit management, preferably in a global and or a complex, multi-metric oragnisation
- Strong leaderships skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Demonstrated ability to drive change, optimise processes, and deliver results in a fast paced environment
