Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced
Credit Manager to join the finance team. The ideal candidate will have a background in professional, financial, or legal services and will be responsible for managing the company's credit and collections processes, ensuring timely payment from customers while maintaining positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
- Establish and manage credit limits and payment terms.
- Monitor and analyze aging reports to identify delinquent accounts.
- Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Develop and implement credit and collection policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports for management on credit and collection activities.
- Manage a team of credit analysts.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit management.
- Experience in professional, financial, or legal services is preferred.
- Corporate astuteness and professionalism.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to deal with senior leadership and stakeholders.
