Credit Officer

They are seeking a self-motivated and confident Credit Officer to join their large credit department providing exceptional service both internally and externally.
The Position
Reporting to the Credit Manager you will be responsible for:

• Distributing invoices, banking, receipting, processing of payments
• Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
• Perform credit checks on new account applicants for approval
• Investigating and processing customer claims and returns
• Responding to customer queries in a timely and professional manner
• Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
• Processing and setting up one-time and recurring credit card payments
• Month end reporting
• General filing, Scanning documents, data entry, faxing, and photocopying.

The Candidate

• Previous experience in a busy high volume credit role
• Experience with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or JDE & Excel
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
