Our Crew Tech Leads are curious and collaborative leaders providing expert strategic technology advice to the business. In line with our broader tech strategy you’ll define the technical roadmap and oversee the delivery of outcomes in partnership with business Crew Leads. You’ll bridge the gap between business strategy and technical solutions, enabling autonomous delivery at pace. An experienced people leader you’ll foster an engineering culture of continuous improvement whilst creating an open, safe and collaborative environment for your teams.

The HR Technology function works in an Agile method with our HR business to plan, prioritise and deliver on high value HR & technology objectives with key results that can be experienced by all of our employees. We have a leading set of platforms such as Workday, Workday Extend, ServiceNow, Pega, Ab-Initio and a strategically growing footprint in AWS. Your ability to lead work through the value chain of HR outcomes underpinned through engineering platforms will serve you well in this environment.
The role will form part of the HR Tech leadership team and help establish and lead an engineering mindset and be a key sponsor of engineering disciplines in our Agile delivery model as we look to grow our team and ensure we are an organisation primed for delivery with a modern technology estate.

• Can create sustainable tech ecosystems through driving exceptional design, refactoring and technical debt elimination - all whilst ensuring best practices and tooling to improve governance and controls
• Empower their teams to deliver autonomously by removing technology blockers, streamlining process and decoupling applications
• Have a demonstrable understanding of enterprise data standards, application modernisation and reference architecture
• Are motivated by growing and developing people – you take ownership of the performance management and career progression of your teams

Skills
The skills that will serve you well for success in this role revolve around having expert knowledge of HR technology platforms, engineering tooling and being able to move between hands on work with the tech chapter leads and engaging HR Product Owners on initiatives.
Key platforms and tools are Workday, ServiceNow, Git and AWS.
