Senior Technical Lead is responsible for developing the fast, secure, scalable and maintainable applications that will make us stand out from the crowd by ensuring the quality and enabling Company employees to do their work effectively.
- Responsible for development and maintenance of the application built using Universe programming language 11.3.1 & Java/J2EE framework
- Tracking all levels of the normal, recurring, critical batch failures in the application level and giving the permanent resolution code fix by using a problem record in production environment.
- Provide support during the application delivery times and able to handle the issues during the deployment.
- Responsible for problem management and to perform preventive/ proactive maintenance changes for the supported applications under problem management.
- Acknowledging incidents, service requests and resolving then in a timely manner based on the SLA defined
- Documenting all the changes that are made to the applications and managing the documentation
- Responsible for test case preparation and Unit Testing for small work requests/Enhancements.
- Monitoring and providing the technical support to the applications during and after implementation
- Action on service requests/changes in the production environment with proper business impact analysis for implementing those changes/SR’s to ensure business as usual in application perspective
- Classify the defects raised and undertake an immediate effort to fix them ensuring a smoother delivery.
- Building and executing the unit test cases and ensure a high-quality code as per standards.
- Automating the daily manual workarounds using the shell scripts in the production environment to reduce the unwanted manual efforts.
- Performing requirement analyses.
- Developing high-quality and detailed designs.
- Conducting unit testing using automated unit test frameworks like BDD.
- Create architecture plans and communicate vision to various stakeholders
- Guide implementation of back-end architecture and framework like Microservices, and understand frontend frameworks, including AngularJS
- Collaborate with Product Development, Internal IT, QA and Client Support teams to deliver high quality products
- Coordinate business & front-line technical support teams to provide production support
- Mentor teams on best practices, programming frameworks and methodologies
- Knowledge on Java, Kafka, Datadog, AWS, Azure, CI/CD, Dev Ops and SQL Server Database.
Education & Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 13-15 years’ experience with the following technologies.
- Scripting Language: JavaScript, AJAX, AngularJS, Node JS, ReactJS
- Application Servers: Tomcat, JetSpeed, WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Portal Server, Oracle Application Server, Grunt
- Tools : Eclipse, Rational Application Developer, Intellij, JDeveloper, CVS, SVN, Clear Case, VSS, GIT, Junit.
- Strong working knowledge in Databases: Universe DB Oracle, GraphDB, MongoDB, PL/SQL
- Universe programming language 11.3.1, AIX 7.2, J2EE, JSF 2.0, Apache, Struts 2.3, Spring, JMS, REST Web Services, EJB 2.0, IBM WebSphere Portal (6.0,8.0), Oracle 11g
- Strong working knowledge on latest technology: Microservice, Spring Boot, Kafka, Zookeeper, Data Dog, Redis search and Cloud experience (Azure and AWS).
