The Role
John Flynn Private Hospital has a new and exciting opportunity for a Loans Coordinator to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This position will see you part of a busy CSSD department, catering for 12 Operating Theatres, 2 Cath Labs and 3 Day Surgery Theatres. The role reports to the CSSD Manager.
Candidates with previous prosthesis / stores experience are encouraged to apply!
Key Role Accountabilities
- Liaising with medical companies to coordinate timely delivery and pick-up of loan sets and prosthesis Checking and coordinating instruments loan sets across all surgical specialties
- Work closely with manager of CSSD and Peri-Op Group.
- Checking and coordinating instruments loan sets across all surgical specialties
- Ensuring completeness of all sets on receiving and dispatch on a strict deadline
- Processing instruments efficiently and timely and manage documentation effectively, utilising Microsoft office programmes.
- Liaise with VMO rooms to ensure accurate procedural details, complete documentation, booking times and appropriate instrumentation has been provided
- Accurately record and track loan set movement in and out of CSSD department
Your Key Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you are a process driven individual with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in your tasks. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- Previous prosthesis/stores experience highly regarded
- Experience as a CSSD Instrument Technician and/or Loan Set Coordinator highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
- Experience using Microsoft programmes, Excel in particular.
Remuneration
A base hourly, award rate ranging from $28.84 - $32.81 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
