Position SummaryYour role will be to oversee the running of, staffing and maintanence of all CT scanners across Alfred Health. You will redirect resources where necessary to ensure CT service demand is maintaned. You will be ultimatley responsbile for
- maintanence of all CT related equipment across campuses
- establishment of all CT scan protocols
- ensuring all CT examinations performed are of the highest quality
- monitoring staff adherence to CT protocols and general performance
- maintaining accurate patient records pertaining to patient safety in CT
- overseeing all CT training across campuses
Interested applicants should also fit the following criteria which are considered highly desirable in a potential dedicated/permanent grade 4 CT position:
- Experienced in the running of multiple CT scanners (inpatient, outpatient and ED)
- Extensive experience in a range of complex CT examinations
- Proven capacity to work alongside a range of stakeholders within a medical imaging department
Qualifications and Skills Required- Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiations or equivalent
- Post-graduation qualification in Computed Tomography
- Eligibility for A.S.M.I.R.T. Statement of Compliance
- National Registration with AHPRA to practice as a Medical Imaging Technologist
- Victorian Department of Health Use Licence
- Evidence of CPD in line with registration requirements
- Good communication skills
