About the Role
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of CT and general radiography and will be able to provide specialist advice and mentor other employees. Managing CT, the successful candidate will support the Chief MIT and provide leadership to other less experienced or lower graded staff. As the major hospital in the region, patients will present with a wide variety of health conditions including major and minor trauma, oncology, medical and surgical conditions, infectious diseases and mental health illnesses. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CT radiographer to lead a growing and dynamic team.
Staff work a 7-day rotating roster servicing a busy emergency department, inpatients and outpatients in a rapidly growing regional hospital comprising MRI, two CTs, three x-rays, four mobiles, five ultrasounds, and five operating theatres with three image intensifiers.
We are looking for
- At least 10 years experience as a full MRPBA registrant
- Current MRPBA registration, Victorian Radiation Use Licence and driver's licence
- Extensive knowledge and skills in CT
- Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts
