About the Role

  • Provide First Nation Cultural Capability training and education across all service areas and levels of staff in Metro South Health.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across Metro South Health facilities to ensure that appropriate and culturally sensitive services, contribute to the improved health and well-being status of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  • Project management and support to Metro South clinical and non-clinical services to ensure progression of specific First Nations' improvement initiatives contributing to Metro South Health, First Nations Health Equity Strategy 2022-2025.
  • Represent MSH in developing and maintaining key partnerships with support organisations and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities contributing to improving the patient journey from admission to discharge and ongoing care in the home.
