Culture & Development Project Officer
Employment Type: Full time (35 hours per week)
Duration: 12-month fixed term contract
Remuneration: Level 7 $106,350 - $115,103 (depending on experience) + 17% super + leave loading
Location: Kensington, NSW (hybrid working)

Why Your Role Matters:
The Culture & Development Team is responsible for the design and development of several key frameworks, tools, programs and processes in the areas of leadership, culture, development, talent and wellbeing which will ensure that UNSW staff have the required skills and capabilities to successfully deliver Strategy 2025.
The Culture and Development Project Officer is focussed on effectively leading the organisation, planning, negotiation and reporting of programs, coaching, projects, and systems to support leader and staff engagement in leadership, culture, development, talent and wellbeing programs and initiatives.
The role reports to the Manager Culture & Development and has no direct reports.Accountabilities:
Drive the implementation and delivery of leadership and recognition strategies and related initiatives and services to meet UNSW objectives.
Design and support the implementation, maintenance and improvement of leadership and recognition tools and information.
Support the collection, analysis and utilisation of information and data to ensure decisions relevant to leadership and recognition strategies are informed by a reliable base of evidence.
Project manage leadership and recognition initiatives end to end, including relationship and internal and external stakeholder management.
Develop processes and systems to deliver, implement and report on leadership and recognition initiatives across UNSW.
Contribute to the continuous improvement and measurable success of the UNSW Culture and Development team.
Contribute project management expertise more broadly to Culture and Development initiatives where required.
Who You Are:
A relevant tertiary qualification with substantial relevant experience and/or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience.
Extensive experience leading projects, processes, and systems, especially in relation to Culture & Development initiatives.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders both internal and external.
Demonstrated ability to lead end to end project management, relationship management and delivery, including the capability to manage programs focused on specific outcomes that engage staff across diverse groups, working both autonomously and collaboratively across multi-function teams.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the proven ability to multiple projects and programs simultaneously.
Advanced level of computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications, HR systems and databases.
Excellent attention to detail, including time management and organisational skills with a proven ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines and to work under pressure to deliver outcomes.
An interest in and passion for Culture & Development initiatives and be a positive contributor to organisational culture and change.
