Custody Operations Associate - Funds Execution

Key responsibilities include:

• You will be part of our Custody Operations team and will be accountable for addressing clients and fund manager queries (once you are ready)
• Ensuring all daily and monthly operational and reporting deliverables are met in a timely and accurate manner
• Daily Processing of Trades, Income & Transfers (and more - the sky is the limit)
• Authorise all custody related processes such as all the cash, income, transfers and year end associated deliverables
• Extract, chase and collect instructions from third parties, including fund manager statements
• Aim to have zero reconciliations and open positions by ensuring that service levels are met and are in line with client expectations

Experience and attributes include:

• ‘No’ experience necessary in the financial services industry, however some experience in the financial industry (at a fund manager, registry or custodian would be beneficial) and have an understanding of financial and accounting concepts 
• You may have just completed school or TAFE or university 
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, completion of the ACSA Certificate IV in financial services or Diploma of financial services is also preferred but not essential
• Keen to learn/contribute/make a difference
• Someone we can ‘rely’ on
• Sense of urgency and good time management skills
• Problem solver, identifies and suggests solutions to problems, not just raise the problem.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

The role is a hybrid role, working 3 days from our Sydney CBD office, and 2 days from home.
