About the role
The Customer and Event Assistant is responsible for providing a high-level customer service experience during event operations and programs on site.
Working at the Sydney International Shooting Complex you may be deployed across a range of various tasks:
- Supporting event bump in and bump out including setting up/packing up, event day operations, parking duties, general labour and maintenance e.g., operating plant and equipment.
- Undertaking administrative tasks such as providing information to customers, checking customer details and registrations, taking hire/equipment fees & selling ammunition where required.
We are looking for people who enjoy building rapport with customers and have strong communication, interpersonal skills, able to work autonomously, comfortable working on events with large customer groups.
No previous experience is essential for roles at our Venues or Centres, just the right attitude and the team will provide you with all of the necessary training.
Essential requirements
- A National Criminal Records Check (NCRC) clearance
- Willing to work on a 7-day week rostered basis (shifts could be early morning, evenings and weekends)
- A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willing to obtain
