Customer Care and Logistics Coordinator

Hayward Flow Control, a division of Hayward Holdings, is a leading U.S. manufacturer of industrial thermoplastic valves, actuation and controls, instrumentation, filters, strainers, corrosion resistant pumps, bulkhead fittings and tank accessories and for use in water and wastewater treatment, chemical processing & transfer, chemical feed, aquatic/animal life support systems, mining, and other industrial processing systems. Hayward's thermoplastic flow control products can accommodate aggressive and corrosive environments, delicate ecosystems, or the strictest chemical balances to keep water and life working together. 

As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as Inside Sales and Warehouse Support for our Flow Control product line in Australia and New Zealand. 

This role involves the dual responsibility of delivering exceptional customer service and providing essential warehouse support for all Hayward Flow Control products to our customers. 

Located in our Dandenong South warehouse, that is shared with Hayward Pool Products and reporting to the Business Development Manager, the primary purpose of the Customer Care and Logistics Coordinator role is to provide a quality and professional level of Warehousing functions, whilst providing customer service support that expands to a wide range of customers. 

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Provide technical assistance and product information on all Flow Control product lines to our customers.
• Be the liaison with other HPA and Flow Control departments to coordinate any technical questions for our customers.
• Manage assigned accounts to ensure that commitments are met, and customers are kept informed. 
• Enter sales orders into ERP system. Track Lead-times and shipment for orders. 
• Provide quotations to customer. 
• Coordinate customer requirements by working closely with the operations, shipping, and sales staff.
• Process Return Goods Authorizations, in coordination with our US technical team.
• Evaluate and fulfil warranty requests in compliance with warranty protocols.
• Continuously grow technical knowledge on all Flow Control product lines, both through formal training and individual study
• Provide assistance to customers for all customer service-related activities, including but not limited to generation of credit notes, tracking shipments, customer documents, literature requests, etc. 
• Picking and packing orders, which involves collecting products and getting them ready for dispatch.
• Comply with onsite safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Stocktakes of Flow Control inventory and ensure stock accuracy at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

To be considered for this role you will possess the following experience and personal qualities:

• Current VIC driver’s license and forklift license – Essential 
• A minimum of 5 years in a Customer Service, Warehouse or Inside Sales Support environment
• Prior experience in Warehouse and inventory management.
• A technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on Excel.
• Excellent communication skills
• A proven track record working within an operational team environment
• Effective prioritization skills and the use of sound judgment in resolving issues
• Demonstrated follow up skills.
