Enrich Abilities is seeking a proactive and outcome-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role is key to our strategic expansion and enhancing our service offerings.
About the role:
You will leverage your expertise in Business Development and relationship management to drive sustainable growth for Enrich Abilities. You'll build strategic partnerships, cultivate referrals, and identify new business opportunities aligned with the NDIS framework, ensuring Enrich Abilities continues to empower individuals with disabilities.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, needs, and potential opportunities within the disability services sector.
- Prospect for new business through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation initiatives.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence in untapped areas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including NDIS participants, support coordinators, healthcare professionals, and community organizations.
- Represent Enrich Abilities at industry expos, networking events, and community forums to generate referrals.
- Prepare regular reports on Business Development activities, achievements, and challenges for management review
- Create and present compelling proposals that showcase Enrich Abilities' capabilities and value proposition.
- Develop strategic partnerships that align with our mission and contribute to increased client reach.
About you:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Business Development or a related role, with a proven track record in the NDIS space
- A background working in the aged care, disability and community services sector.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong analytical and networking skills are essential, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and act quickly to capitalise on opportunities
- Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and networking skills with a focus on seizing new business opportunities.
- Possess a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and the NDIS philosophy.
- Established network and connections within the health, aged care and disability services industry (highly regarded)
- Efficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with a willingness to embrace new technology.
- Experience in the not for profit sector (preferred)

- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Reliable car and current driver's license
