Spinal Life Australia is a non-profit organisation that provides expert knowledge, specialist therapies and support tailored for people with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities. We're the largest provider of support services to people living with spinal cord injuries in Australia for over 60 years.
What are we looking for?
As the first point of contact with Spinal Life Australia you will provide a professional, friendly and warm welcome to all visitors including members, clients, staff, health care professionals and community. As part of the Customer Engagement Team, you will be responsible for the effective day to day administration, monitoring and preparation of service agreements/quotes for our allied health services.
What will I do?
Staff Supervision & leadership
- Lead the team in the delivery of Customer engagement activities in the HLC (Healthy Living Centre)
- Provide team members with supervision, coaching and mentoring as required
- Facilitate the implementation of new business improvements that will increase potential for new and improved business practices and greater business opportunities
- Manage SLA reception, including face to face, email and telephone enquiries clearly and efficiently in accordance with Customer Engagement Protocols
- Accurately manage bookings online and via telephone for allied health services
- Producing quotes for services for various different funding bodies
- Operate and process HICAPS, EFTPOS payments for allied health clients
- Responsible for responding to enquiries for new and existing services
- Experience working in a high volume medical or allied health practice.
- Previous experience in managing a team of staff
- Experience with quoting and funding processes
- High level of attention to detail, with the ability to work with speed and accuracy.
- Completion of a Receptionist course or equivalent relative on the job experience
- Experience and ability to manage extensive multiple moving and conflict deadlines.
- Understanding of various funding bodies would be an advantage.
- You will need a current NDIS Workers Screening (QLD) and a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or be willing to apply for one
- You will also need to complete the free online NDIS Worker Orientation Module
