We are seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader to drive our Community Engagement initiatives. As the Team Leader Community Engagement, you will play a pivotal role in fostering meaningful connections between the council and the diverse communities we serve. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team and implement innovative strategies to promote community participation, collaboration, and inclusion.
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Qualifications in Planning, Communications or other related field.
QLD “C” Class Drivers Licence or interstate equivalent.
Broad industry experience in Community Engagement.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and effective working relationships, teamed with the ability to communicate appropriately both verbally and in writing.
Strong ability to deal with difficult situations, clearly articulate issues, negotiate outcomes and resolve problems, with an attitude to take personal responsibility for promptly handling and resolving workplace tasks.
Well-developed skills in project management, research data collection, analysis and report writing.

Base annual salary $90,623
Up to 18% superannuation (conditions apply)
