Local Land Services (LLS) is an Executive Agency within the Department of Regional NSW. It provides quality, customer-focused services to landholders and the community across New South Wales. This regionally based organisation brings together a wide range of service and advisory functions including agriculture, biosecurity, natural resource management, land management, biodiversity, emergency services and private native forestry.
The North West Local Land Services (NWLLS) region is made up of the council areas of Gunnedah, Gwydir, Liverpool Plains, Moree Plains, Narrabri, Tamworth and Walgett. The region has an area of approximately 82,000 km2, a distance of over 440 kilometres.

About the role
As a Customer Service and Administration Support Officer, you will provide high quality administrative support and front-line Customer Service including giving initial advice, triaging customer enquiries, routine systems searches, updating and capturing information from records and databases, database management, event and meeting coordination and preparing routine correspondence.
You will also provide general accounting support to the North West LLS team and customers including raising rate payer tax invoices, taking and receipting cash payments, banking, debt management and general financial reconciliations.

About You
This is a hands-on role best suited to someone with a proactive team player attitude. You’ll need to have strong, professional communication skills, an eye for the detail and be someone who’s comfortable both processing accurate data and information, as well as speaking to both internal and external customers.
Previous experience in a Customer Service or administration role would be an advantage, along with experience in using various business systems. If you have a genuine passion for working with local communities and want to be part of a supportive team, this is the job for you!
