About the Role
Team Global Express is currently seeking a lively, friendly, and driven individual eager to join our Administration Team on a Full Time Permanent basis at our Cairns Location. This role offers you the opportunity to engage with our everyday customers and operations staff, working towards addressing their concerns and providing quality outcomes and solutions. You'll handle customer interactions by phone and email, as well as frequently being out on the floor to diagnose freight queries in real time with our Dedicated Operations Team.
Key Responsibilities and Job Requirements
- Address all customer queries promptly and professionally.
- Utilise freight management systems and other key software in order to track customer freight and resolve queries
- Handle each customer interaction with empathy and resilience, adapting to diverse needs and situations.
- Educate customers on how to use our self-service platforms effectively.
- Liaise frequently with on site staff and proactively build relationships with key operations staff in order to resolve any customer queries or requests
- Be willing to dedicate your time to diagnosing freight issues in real time by inspecting and investigating freight throughout the Depot and speaking with numerous staff members on the floor
- Dedicate appropriate amounts of time daily towards office administration as well as inspecting and investigating customer freight queries on the floor and throughout the Depot
- Have a pro-active and strategic mindset to Customer Service by utilising multiple avenues towards problem solving which include liaising with staff, using technology and systems and conducting your own freight inspections to ascertain appropriate solutions
- Precise data entry skills and excellent attention to detail
- Must work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to prioritise tasks
- Previous exposure to transport & logistics, including tasks involving pallets and manifesting is preferred but not essential. Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
