Panasonic Australia is seeking a Customer Service Administrator to cover a 12 month parental leave contract and join its Customer Service team located at its Macquarie Park Headquarters.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and engaging Customer Service Administrator to join our Australian operation.

The key responsibilities we would trust you with:

  • Provide escalation support to our call centre operation.
  • Respond to Customer Service enquiries via telephone and / or email.
  • Resolve delegated product issues by liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide assistance to retailers, sales representatives and service partners regarding customer enquiries, spare parts and service partner administration.
  • Ensure compliance to Panasonic Australia’s regulatory obligations, including and not limited to Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and Privacy Act and be able to demonstrate such compliance with the relevant government bodies via email, phone, and face to face.

The areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most to the role:

Broad skill set.

  • High level understanding of Customer Service and the processes and disciplines that underpin a successful service operation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience in communicating with consumers via different media.
  • Exposure to a consumer / retail-based call centre, where your administration and organisation skills stood out.
  • Empathy, patience and the ability to reach win / win outcomes within Panasonic guidelines.
  • The drive and ability to manage customer enquiries to conclusion.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated Customer Service skills with experience working in a consumer-based service operation.
  • Be a motivated team-player with the ability to communicate with staff and customers at all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience using CRM systems (ideally Salesforce)
  • Comprehensive understanding of Australia’s consumer protection regulatory framework, including Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and The Privacy Act
  • Touch typing skills are highly desirable.
