About the team:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Safety Administrator to join the safety team at the NSW Telco Authority.
The successful candidate will be an experienced administrator and will play a key role in helping to deliver our work health and safety strategy. You will be joining a friendly, fast-paced team who are passionate about keeping people and places safe. This role sits within the Safety team in the NSW Telco Authority.

Your day-to-day:
- Manage, review and update WHS Management System documentation and Safety Registers (i.e. incident, training, legal)
- Manage NSWTA’s safety reporting platform (i.e. allocation of licences, reviewing outstanding actions & uploading incident data)
- Arrange safety inspections and disburse PPE
- Assist with the development of safety communications (i.e. safety alerts & yammer)
- Filing documentation and compiling WHS reportsMinute taking (i.e. Health & Safety Committee) and facilitating safety inductions
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft office suite and experience using Safety Audit/Inspection Software
- Ability to obtain a construction induction white card.
- Drivers licence and willing to undertake regular travel.
- Interest in obtaining a Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety
