Pack & Send is a forward thinking Australian company in the parcel, freight and eCommerce sector, operating over 150 centres across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
Because of our continued growth, the Darwin office needs more motivated people who want us to succeed and excel. This is a varied and interesting role, combining great Customer Service with expertise in packing fragile and unusual items that require freighting. We need someone who has a great attitude and is willing to go the extra mile.
Full training will be provided for the successful candidate, along with ongoing coaching and development.
The role includes:
- providing outstanding Customer Service
- packaging and preparing a variety of items for freighting – small parcels, large fragile artworks, heavy awkward goods
- local pick-ups and local deliveries in the PACK & SEND vehicle
- using point of sale computer programs and MS Office
- tracking and tracing consignments, and resolving delivery issues
- completing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the business.
To be successful in this role you must:
- be a team player and have a great attitude
- have excellent Customer Service, selling and conversion skills
- be physically fit and hard working
- have great communication skills – both verbal and written
- be able to think quickly, problem solve and be organised
- have a valid driver’s licence.
