About Us:
A family owned business, Haulaway, is a leader in the waste industry. We have a full-time position available for an experienced and dynamic Customer Service / Data Entry officer to join our Customer Service team in Dandenong South (relocating to Braeside in the coming months).
The successful candidate for this varied role will have a strong Customer Service and administration background in a fast-paced environment, be highly organised, have strong communication skills, the ability to problem solve, and be driven to provide the best Customer Service experience to all current and potential Haulaway customers.
About You:
- Comfortable conversing with customers over the phone & via email
- Ability to multitask and problem solve
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- Accurate Data Entry skills
- Able to work autonomously within a team environment
- Adaptable and flexible
About The Role:
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Creating bookings as requested by phone and email
- Answering customer account and invoice queries
- Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Providing the sales team with account information as requested
- Liaising with internal departments (operations/fleet drivers/sales/accounts)
- Ensuring data entered by the fleet drivers is accurate
- Scanning, emailing, and filing proof of service dockets
- Updating spreadsheets with monthly data
- Confirming services completed by sub-contractors
- Completing weekly & monthly customer reporting
Experience in the following is advantageous but not essential:
- Waste industry knowledge
- Wastedge experience
