ABOUT THE ROLE

The Customer Service Manager role is based in our BUSY Silverwater Office, Trade Counter and Showroom - a bright, sunny location just off the M4. This person manages five direct reports over three branches to ensure high levels of customer service.

Additionally to managing the productivity, customer service excellence and workload distribution of the internal team, this role has a foundation of day-to-day work involving inbound order entry (which is not always straight forward as our range has 3000 technical products in the catalogue). The role requires a person with an excellent phone manner and the ability to listen, understand and decipher what the customer requires (training is provided). 

ABOUT YOU

The successful person will have the ability to multi-task and prioritize. The position requires a person with outstanding administrative skills that can manage the general running of the office.

A solid command of the MS Office suite (particularly MS Word and MS Excel) is also required to enable reporting and analysis of workload distribution and productivity. We are looking for someone who wants to settle into our team for the long term and grow with the company (job hoppers who only want to stay for a couple or years or so need not apply).

We highly value people with initiative who are proactive in finding better ways to do things and going above and beyond to ensure customers are thrilled with our service. This role is very busy: lots of competing demands with retail customers and ringing phones - if you thrive on pressure please proceed. If you like a quiet life then this job is not for you!

Office hours: 7.30am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
