Customer Service Manager- Supply Chain
Sanitarium is a progressive and dynamic business that is Australian owned and produces Australia’s leading breakfast products – Up & Go, So Good, and Australia’s favourite breakfast Weet-Bix.
We are currently seeking an experienced Manager with strong leadership qualities and the ability to empower and motivate our team.
The role
This position is responsible for the management, operation and performance of all domestic and export Customer Service functions and supporting initiatives within carrier management, growth and efficiencies.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Lead, mentor and drive the team to achieve their goals
- Development & implementation of the Customer Service strategy & culture plans, referencing both the logistics and the Sanitarium strategy.
- Support in the implementation of the overall Sanitarium Logistics strategy
- Develop and support customer collaboration process both internal and external
- Support transport/freight forwarder contracts/budgets and adherence to KPI’s.
- Drive continuous process improvement to achieve:
- Reduced costs
- Minimise short supply (Measure = Deliver In Full On Time – 98.5%)
- Order and invoice accuracy
- Transport utilisation
- Efficient dock management
- Analyze data and provide recommendations when needed.
- Manage the credit claims process.
About you
You will have strong Customer Service leadership experience within Supply chain, FMCG, Manufacturing or Pharmaceutical and bring with you a passion for leading, developing, and empowering teams.
- Strong experience with direct people leadership
- 5+ years’ experience in a Customer Service management role
- Previous export experience
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy
- Previous SAP experience (desirable)
