CCA Tyre & Mechanical has two full time positions for fully qualified mechanics as well as a front of house position for day to day running of the workshop. If you really enjoy working in a small close-knit team, then one of these positions may be for you. Knowledge in MechanicDesk software would be advantageous. We are a small family owned business with 3 bay workshop, latest tyre fitment machines and high quality tooling to complete works necessary.
The mechanic positions would ideally hold the following:
- Australian Trade Qualification, or equivalent, as a Mechanic
- Experience working in the Australian motor industry
- High quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Excellent fault finding & diagnostic skills
- Several years’ experience as a mechanic
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive can-do attitude
- A strong work ethic
- Rights to work in Australia
- Current Manual Licence
- Be honest and reliable
- Have a strong work ethic
- Be a team player
- A Light Vehicle Roadworthy Tester’s License is an advantage
These are both full-time permanent roles for either a qualified light vehicle mechanic or, alternatively, a qualified diesel/hydraulic mechanic with the skills to work on light/heavy vehicles and machinery. Both positions come with an attractive salary package relevant to your level of experience.
The Workshop Manager’s Role is a key role. You will be one of the faces at the front line in Customer Service of our small, but vibrant family-owned business.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Managing a small team of automotive technicians
- Allocating and managing daily work
- Taking phone-calls and customer enquiries
- Quoting and invoicing jobs
- Sourcing and ordering parts.
- Entering and pricing parts when required
- Assisting mechanics when needed
- Managing mobile service units
- Completing necessary paperwork
- Managing and keeping up to date with emails
- Ensuring compliance with OHS & EPA regulations.

- Fully Qualified Mechanic

The remuneration comprising of a salary will be negotiated with the successful applicants taking into consideration your skills and ability.
