What you’ll do:
- Provide efficient and quality service and information to customers and stakeholders to improve their understanding of the regulatory requirements under the NSW Government Non-Urban Water Metering reform and how to comply, including options for managing their approvals and water access licences within the legislative framework and WaterNSW licensing requirements. Where the information is not readily available, source from approved service providers.
- Collaborate with key areas of the business and its external stakeholders to ensure correct and practical advice for customers.
- Provide first level escalation point for the Customer Service Centre, resolving escalated enquiries and complaints, providing specialist service and answering complex queries on the metering reform.
- Represent WaterNSW at industry briefings and meetings to ensure key contentious issues are discussed at a decision-making level.
- Develop training materials and facilitate training to educate and advise WaterNSW staff and external stakeholders of the requirements under the NSW Government Non-Urban Water Metering reform.
- Relevant qualifications, degree or equivalent experience
- Awareness of legislative requirements and regulatory framework within the water industry
- Knowledge of Water Metering reforms will be highly advantageous
- Demonstrated commitment to quality Customer Service
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional telephone manner and communication skills
