Clerk Grade: DCS Clerk Grade 5/6 (starting base $93,295 + super)
Employment Type: Ongoing permanent full time
Location: Sydney CBD - McKell building with hybrid work arrangements across NSW

Working across large ICT categories and reporting to the Contracts & Commercial Performance Manager, this role is part of a collaborative team who value individual input and offers genuine flexibility.

This opportunity is within a high-volume and dynamic environment that spans a range of procurement and commercial activity.

About the role:

  • Ensure all procurement documentation complies with State Government and Departmental policies. See https://buy.nsw.gov.au/ for further details.
  • Preparing correspondence including briefing notes and procurement documentation ensuring effective records management and reporting.
  • Assist in the planning and formation of low to medium risk IT contracts.
  • Maintain contract records in GTP Commercial Application
  • Assist in the development of reports, tools and templates to ensure compliance with policies and procedures including internal controls.
  • Assist in coordinating and responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across business units to deliver value for money, and deliver procurement outcomes.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract management.
  • Well-developed written communication and interpersonal skills, including the preparation of procurement and technical documents.
  • Ability to liaise, consult and negotiate with a range of stakeholders.
  • Good level of conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify and highlight key issues.
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritise and organise workloads to agreed timeframes.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite and power App and BI skills desirable.

Salary DCS Grade 0506, with the base salary for this role starting at 93295 base plus superannuation
