About the role
Due to an internal move, ARC have an opportunity for a Customer Service Officer to join our tight-knit team at our Wodonga branch. You will be working closely with sales and operations to deliver an outstanding customer experience. This position would be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing customer/sales experience.
This is a permanent role - Monday to Friday with working hours from 7.30am to 3.30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain customer relationships through service excellence
Process and manage customer orders, quotes, and enquiries face-to-face, online, and over the phone
Over-the-counter sales - early morning customer pick-ups run hot!
Assisting with planning of production runs and loads
Liaising with freight companies to manage transport and logistics
Work alongside the sales team to support ARC's success in the market
Creation and maintenance of pricing-related information
Onsite customer visits to develop long-term relationships and a deep understanding of their needs
Adhere to ARC's WH&S policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Sound IT skills
High level of attention to detail and robust administrative skills
Experience working alongside customers face-to-face and over phone/email
Skilled in value-based selling
Self-motivated, driven, and with a positive team attitude - cup half full!
Previous experience in the construction/manufacturing industry is not essential - hiring manager is focused on the right customer/cultural values you bring to our team
