This role requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to provide essential assistance and support to apprentices and trainees. The role will support the participants throughout their apprenticeship. The focus of this role is also to foster a positive and professional environment, contributing to the success of the apprenticeship program.
Delivery of quality customer services experiences for all stakeholders is imperative as this role is the first point of contact for queries in relation to apprenticeships.
Key Responsibilities
- To work within a team to ensure the administrative and processing activities required in meeting contractual obligations of APM's Australian Apprenticeship Support Services are carried out in an accurate and timely manner
- Serve as the primary point of contact for apprentices, offering guidance, advice, and support via phone and through digital channels.
- Assess new apprentices’ needs, goals, and any potential barriers to success.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including employers, trainers, and support services to ensure holistic and integrated approach to apprentice support.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated administrative experience, preferably in a training, employment services or corporate setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, through various methods
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Experience and high-level understanding of various IT Packages including Microsoft suites.
- Detail oriented with an empathetic and approachable demeanor.
- Proactive problem solver with ability to work autonomously.
- Adaptable and flexible team player
