Position: Customer Service Officer
Slape and Sons is a highly successful established 3rd generation family owned and operated business, manufacturing premium burgers and sausages, we are recognised for our commitment to excellence and innovation within the food sector.
Slape and Sons is undergoing significant growth, as a result of our continued success, we are relocating from our current premises in Newton to our new facility at Dry Creek in 2024.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced Customer Service team and take your Customer Service and sales expertise to a new level. With our broard customer base which includes wholesale and B2B, the Customer Service and sales team have a strong focus on maintaining and developing strong relationships with both external and internal customers through identifying and responding to their needs with a high level of Customer Service.
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-orientated customer-focused person to join our team. In this role you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers and provide essential administrative support to our sales team.
Hours of work - 8am - 4pm
Responsibilities will include:
- Respond promptly and courteously to customer enquiries via phone, email and in person, and our factory outlet.
- Tele sales, assisting customers with orders, returns and any other enquiries.
- Processing of orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain customer accounts, updating records as required.
- Assist with administration functions such as filing, data entry and running reports.
- Sales support
To be successful:
- Previous experience in a Customer Service and/or administrative role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be able to work as part of a team and autonomously.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to meet customer needs.
- Experience working with FMCG advantageous.
- Experience working with Pronto or an ERP system advantageous
