Position:Customer Service Officer
Are you a customer-centric individual with exceptional organisational and communication skills? Our client, a leading company in the transport and storage Logistics services industry, seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Customer Service Officer to join their team at their Smithfield site.
Position Purpose: As a Customer Service Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality front-line service to customers, ensuring accurate information delivery, and maintaining administrative data in company programs.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Uphold and lead by the organisational Mission statement and promote it to colleagues.
- Ensure visitor induction and understanding of site rules.
- Maintain accuracy in data entry into company programs.
- Resolve and document complaints according to defined processes.
- Investigate and document instances of service failure or loss/damage to customer goods.
- Maintain high standards of quality and promote safety policies.
- Liaise with other work areas to provide information on daily operations.
- Review daily plans to ensure service level KPIs are achieved.
- Attend and contribute to relevant meetings.
- Understand HACCP requirements.
- Enter transport and warehouse bookings into the system.
- Conduct freight investigations.
- Answer phones and respond to email queries.
- Strong Customer Service orientation
- 7am to 9am Starts as Rostered
- Ability to build effective relationships internally and externally.
- Skill in dealing with difficult customers.
- Active listening and learning skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure.
- Self-managed, motivated, and energetic
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365 applications.
- Quality and completion of NODPs
- Completion of end-of-day checks
- Customer satisfaction in answering inquiries.
- Accuracy in data input in all company programs
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with all stakeholders
