Customer Service Officer

We are seeking an enthusiastic front desk Sales Representative/Customer Service Officer. This is a permanent part-time role located at our yard in Kembla Grange working on a Monday, Friday (7:00am to 4:30pm) and half day Saturday (7:00am to 1:00pm with penalty rates).

You will represent Dapto Sands & Supersoils as the face of the business and deliver superior Customer Service to our clients and the general public. 

In this role you will:

• Act as the first point of contact greeting walk-in customers and other visitors
• Take telephone orders & process deliveries 
• Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and office presence
• Demonstrate your passion and focus for Customer Service
• Perform other administrative support tasks, such as filing/photocopying etc 
• Manage cash sale orders, cash handling and eftpos use
• Use of Xero accounting system 
• Become familiar with a high volume of building/landscaping products and their uses
• Perform general housekeeping/maintaining the cleanliness of reception and office areas

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• A high level of customer focus
• Proficient computer skills, in particular with the MS Office Suite
• Organisational skills including time management
• Excellent attention to detail
• A pleasant and professional phone manner
• Knowledge of building & construction industry (desirable)
• General Mathematics experience (understanding unit of measurements & working out area)
