Job Description This is an exciting Dual Role which includes delivering both Customer Serviceand Ramp Officer services on behalf of Star Aviation to Airline customers! As the ‘face of the company’ to clients and passengers, you will put safety and the customers’ needs at the heart of all required tasks. Working as part of our Cooma team, you'll be an important part of each passenger's experience. Key Responsibilities: Ramp Officer Duties: Perform Ramp functions including marshalling aircraft on the ramp (e.g. directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing and towed aircraft) Transfer cargo (including luggage) to other gates, other airlines and to passengers Responsible for courteous, prompt, accurate and careful handling of customer baggage, airfreight and company material; continuous lifting, loading/unloading, sorting and transfer of baggage, freight and company material. Ensure compliance with all Uniform & PPE requirements Management of GSE Ensure the safe and secure operation of all equipment. Test all relevant equipment for serviceability before commencement of every shift. Customer Service Officer Duties: Deliver check in services on behalf of Star Aviation and its Airline customers Ensure you operate in a safe environment and demonstrate a clear understanding of the Health and Safety policies and procedures Politely welcome passengers as they arrive…
