Role Overview
Due to growth, this manufacturing company is seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Officer to join their small team in Minchinbury, Western Sydney.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, who also started in this very role, along with many other leaders in the business who started their career in this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring outstanding Customer Service and smooth operations whilst you learn and develop within the business.
Once you have been trained, some of your key duties will Include:
- Managing Customer Service calls, face-to-face and email inquiries
- Printing and organizing production tags and schedules
- Production allocation and stock control
- Receiving goods and approving transport invoices
- Collection and matching of picking slips
- Scanning and saving client paperwork
- Providing quotations for the Sales Team and managing customer quotes and purchase orders
- Completing daily truck runs and maintaining production logs
- Processing EFTPOS card payments and managing incoming phone calls
- Greeting customers (often builders, trades, contractors) and suppliers
Candidate Profile
You are friendly, organized, and proactive with excellent communication skills and a passion for Customer Service. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn and grow within a company that values its people.
We're looking for someone with:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- A friendly and engaging personality
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Driver's Licence/own transport (public transport is limited)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Any prior experience in Customer Service, fast food, retail, call centre, or administration would be ideal, however, we are more interested in how you communicate with others, your willingness to learn and your genuine interest in building a career
