Form of workHendrickson is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Dandenong, Australia.
We are a market leader in suspension technologies to the heavy automotive industry globally and are looking for an enthusiastic PARTS INTERPRETER to join our Customer Service team, in a multifaceted role with both customer facing and internal aspects.
The role is Based at our regional headquarters in Dandenong South Victoria.
In this role you will:
- Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries – via phone and email
- Answer part related enquiries, and deliver solutions to reduce customer downtime
- Advise customers of stock availability and pricing
- Manage orders from start to finish, including processing orders, and updating customers and sales representatives on order status as necessary
- Co-ordinate international direct-ship orders to our South East Asia region
- Monitor and maintain customer DIFOT
- Liaise with various departments within the business including Sales, Engineering, Purchasing and Planning
This role will appeal to spare PARTS INTERPRETERs with a technical background or experienced heavy vehicle mechanics with a strong CUSTOMER SERVICE focus who enjoy seeing a job through to completion.
You are a self-starter who can work within broad parameters and goals and understands the importance of open communication and responsiveness when working in a team environment.
Self-motivated and professional in approach, you also possess: -
- Intermediate to advanced skill level in Word and Excel;
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to enable development of good working relationships with internal departments and external customers.
- Understanding and ability to read technical drawings and convert that information into a user-friendly format.
About You
- 3-5 years of CUSTOMER SERVICE experience (in a phone room or retail spare parts environment)
- Candidates will ideally come from a technical background with familiarization of truck and trailer suspensions.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- The ability to interpret customer enquiries and provide solutions
- High attention to detail.
