Job description

1 x Full Time Permanent Position - 40 hours per week 8.15am to 5.00pm
1 x Part Time Permanent Position - 20 hours per week 9.30am to 1.30pm 5 days per week
Band 4 - Salary Range $70,018 - $74,233 per annum (pro-rata for part time) + 11% Super + ADO (For Full Time)
Both positions will be required to rotate between Melton & Caroline Springs on alternate days
Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience

The Opportunity
The Customer Service Team are seeking highly motivated people to support the Customer Service Unit, delivering a range of face to face enquiries and a high volume of inbound calls.
Key Responsibilities
Represent Council in providing a professional service to customers both external and internal, including accurately recording customer requests in council’s corporate system.
Provide ‘day to day’ cashiering functions including the receipting, balancing of monies and petty cash reimbursement, along with preparing daily banking documentation, balance end of day and close off cashiers as required.
Assist the Customer Service leadership team in establishing and maintaining appropriate administration systems and documentation, including identification of any continuous improvement opportunities in the delivery of Customer Service.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
Post-secondary qualification with on-the-job training or lesser qualification with experience in the provision of high-level Customer Service to the general public.
A high level of commitment to customer care including experience in face to face enquiries and dealing with a high volume of telephone calls.
Be able to work successfully in a team aiming to provide high quality, accurate and timely information.
Experience in maintaining administrative systems and word processing.
Sound computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Software Applications.
Current Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
