Position Overview: As a Customer Service Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding Customer Service and support to their valued clients. You will be responsible for conducting various transaction activities, educating customers on digital banking solutions, and engaging in needs-based conversations to identify opportunities for personal banking and lending.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional Customer Service by assisting customers with transaction activities and addressing their current and future financial needs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to promote relevant financial products and services, such as accounts, loans, and insurance, to meet customer requirements.
  • Refer customers to specialist team members, such as Business Banking and Home Lending Specialists, to ensure comprehensive support and optimal outcomes.
  • Support vulnerable customers with empathy and understanding, ensuring their needs are met with care and sensitivity.
  • Utilize technology systems efficiently and accurately to process transactions and manage customer interactions.
  • Educate customers on digital banking services to enhance their banking experience and encourage adoption of convenient online solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and procedures for better Customer Service delivery.
  • Adhere to risk, compliance, and security standards to ensure branch operations align with BOQ's policies and regulations.
  • Embody the values of BOQ Group, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence in Customer Service.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Good Customer Service experience, preferably in a financial or retail environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Proficiency in learning and using various technology systems effectively.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences through personalized interactions.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning and self-development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute positively to team goals.
