AddressPERSOLKELLY are seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our client in their manufacturing business in Somerton ASAP.
About the role:
The Customer Support Officer plays a crucial role in facilitating smooth communication and providing exceptional support to both customers and internal teams.
The key responsibilities include handling incoming calls, delivering after-sales support, addressing customer inquiries, and coordinating third-party pickups. The role also involves creating a positive and welcoming phone presence, prioritizing tasks based on urgency, and performing various ad hoc duties as needed.
Main duties encompass:
- Directing calls to appropriate departments and taking messages
- Assisting customers with ticket lodging in Zendesk
- Clearing tickets by offering troubleshooting support
- Accurately recording customer information
- Welcoming and assisting visitors while ensuring security and safety standards
- Managing customer and third-party pickups
- Upholding the company's values in customer interactions
- Conducting data entry and generating reports
- Adhoc tasks
Key skills and attributes required for the role:
- Strong Customer Service experience
- High attention to detail
- Strong administration skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Ability to work independently and self-manage tight deadlines
