The Role
Based in Dandenong South, an exciting opportunity has opened for an Order Processing Specialist position in a fast-growing, vertically integrated FMCG organisation. Undergoing substantial growth, the business requires a dynamic and motivated individual who will be responsible for the effective account management of Australia’s largest grocery retailers with regards to managing all aspects of the sales order cycle as well as providing first class Customer Service to internal stakeholders. Reporting to the Orders & Logistics Manager, the position is a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Entering customer purchase orders;
- Booking delivery timeslots with our major trading partners;
- Booking freight movements with our 3PL partners
- Managing Chep and Loscam pallet transfers;
- Processing all sales order documentation including delivery dockets, invoices, freight consignments and pallet transfers;
- Supporting the key account manager to your portfolio
- Liaising with internal & external warehouse staff to ensure accuracy of stock;
- Monitoring freight movements through to delivery to ensure delivery is completed on-time and problem solving any freight issues as they arise;
- Addressing customer queries including obtaining proof of delivery confirmations as required;
- Assisting with other administrative tasks as directed by management.

Required Experience and Attributes
Your previous experience and qualifications will include:
- Sound knowledge of order fulfillment process;
- Previous Order Processing, administration and data entry experience;
- Experience using business ERP system with exposure to SAP B1 highly regarded;
- High level of attention to detail;
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment;
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Strong personal initiative and proactive approach to your work;
- Competent with IT systems with relevant experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel;
- Ability to work under pressure without compromising speed and accuracy of work;
- Excellent Customer Service skills;
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders as well as suppliers and customers;
- Good practical understanding and experience of operations in a FMCG business will be highly regarded; and
- Experience with third party logistics providers will be highly regarded.
