We are excited to announce that The Fish Factory are hiring a Customer Service Representative. Working under our wholesale banner, this role is great for new graduates and people looking to enter into the workforce. Playing a pivotal role in maintaining exceptional Customer Service standards while managing critical administrative functions, this opportunity will allow the successful candidates to engage in administrative tasks & learn critical software vital to daily operations. Working within an office environment, the successful candidates will be quick learners, eager to take on responsibility and seek growth within our company.
Your role
This is a full-time position, working 38 hours per week including one Saturday shift. Early starts and early finishes are attributed to this role. You will be joining an established team of sales service personnel, supervised by senior sales staff and overseen by the General Manager – Wholesale. The successful candidates will have strong communication skills and the ability to think on their feet. Providing excellent Customer Service at all times while undertaking administrative tasks with an attention to detail are essential to success in the role.
The main responsibilities of the position are:
- Taking and retrieving customer orders and general Customer Service
- Order processing and dispatch duties
- Uphold high-quality service standards by ensuring orders meet specifications, resolving customer-focused issues promptly and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and feedback.
- Perform various administrative tasks such as data entry, assisting with documentation and general sales administration support to the Sales team.
- General office duties and other support to the department where required.
- Managing phone calls including from drivers, internal staff, and clients.
Work environment
Work is primarily conducted in an office within a warehouse environment. Early starts and Saturday shifts may be associated with this role from time to time in peak periods or to cover team annual leave.
Experience, qualifications & personal attributes
Essential
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be attentive to customer/client needs and determined to provide customer/client satisfaction.
- Ability to organise, prioritise, multitask, be flexible and meet deadlines.
- A quick learner with high self-initiative.
- Good standard level knowledge of sales and Customer Services routines.
- Tele sales experience
- Intermediate computer skills including spreadsheets and data programs.
- Work well with others and be a team player.
- Strong work ethic
Desirable
- Previous sales or admin experience or qualification.
- Experience within the foodservice and/or restaurant industry
