The Position
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager you will have Freight Forwarding experience in the Australian market and be able offer critical client support by:
- Working for a well established freight forwarder, you must have forwarding experience within Australia
- Updating clients regarding order status including delays
- Ensuring customer agreed service levels and value add services are met
- Responding to customer enquiries in a timely professional manner
- Ensuring customer retention by addressing and resolving service issues
- Co-ordinating customer shipments with origin office, whilst continuing to monitor shipments until destination delivery
- Developing ongoing client relationships
- Well developed Customer Service skills
- Excellent knowledge of the Freight Forwarding industry - 1+year
- Proven relationship management and influencing skills
- Excellent communication skills with a highly service orientated approach
- Full working rights within Australia
