As the go-to problem solver for our clients, you'll help ensure their shipments arrive on time and intact by coordinating with carriers, negotiating quotes, and managing any hiccups along the way.

Skills and experience
To be considered for this position applicants will have recent Customer/Client Services & Transport experience.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a Customer Service role
- Must hold knowledge of logistics, transport or supply chain management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Experience using Sales Force software is a plus
- Experience using Machship software is a plus
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Continuously seek ways to improve customer experience, Gathering information about the shipment, including details about the goods, origin, destination, weight, volume, and delivery timeline.
- Collaborating with carriers to negotiate quotes and find the most suitable options for clients.
- Coordinating with carriers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments and adhering to clients' requirements.
- Addressing and resolving any concerns or issues that may arise during transit, such as delays or damage to the goods.
- Providing regular updates to clients on the status of their shipments, such as tracking numbers and customs clearance information.
- Managing any disputes or claims that arise, such as lost or damaged goods, and collaborating with our clients & freight providers to reach a resolution.
Hours
- Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5pm (Non-negotiable)
