Customer Service Representative

Come join our Doveton team as a Customer Service Representative (CSR). You’ll be joining a family-owned company that has national (and international!) reach without the pain of working for a big corporate monster.

You will be pivotal to our business as you will be our main Customer Service and sales people. As a Sales and Service Superstar, you will take ownership of an existing list of customers. We love our customers and want you to love them too. As one of the biggest battery importers in Australia, you will have a huge range of high-quality products to support and sell to your customers. This is a genuine, varied, fast-paced role that you can make your own!

About THE ROLE

This role suits someone who genuinely enjoys selling high quality products, giving superior service and wants a hands-on role.

 The main focus of this role includes:  

• Manage an existing set of clients and build genuine relationships with them
• Consignment and stock rotation of products at customer sites
• Invoicing
• Sell and deliver batteries and accessories to trade/wholesale customers
• Pick and pack your daily stock needs 
• Manage stock levels accurately in preparation for daily sales runs.
• Being a product knowledge superstar
• Complete sales paperwork (training provided). We love attention to detail and so do our customers!

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm (40-hour week) with 30 minutes for lunch.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following: 

• Able to confidently drive a manual vehicle
• Proven record of customer sales and service
• Driven to learn new products and processes
• High attention to detail
• Great presentation is required, as you are the face of the Company (Uniform, safety boots and PPE provided)
• Strong communication skills and comfortable speaking to all personalities
• Physically able to lift batteries as heavy lifting is involved (in the range of 10-30 kgs – but don’t panic, we have lifting aids, trolleys etc)
• Good computer skills and willing to learn internal computer systems.
