Customer Service Representative

• Part time, casual opportunity (2 days per week to start)

Best Rated Transport is an online marketplace connecting shippers with customers seeking to transport goods. Our head office is based in Cairns, Queensland (Smithfield) with staff situated in different locations across Aus. 

Best Rated Transport is looking to expand and develop new systems and have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join small but fun team in our newly-renovated Smithfield office, located a close walk to the shops and no paid parking.

This role will see you following up leads generated through our marketing systems and working closely with the sales staff to deliver positive outcomes to our customers and clients. 

This role would be perfectly suited to anyone with excellent Customer Service and communication skills. We are after someone who is enthusiast, motivated and eager to advance their Customer Service and sales skills. 
 

About you:

• Our preferred candidate has experience in Customer Service and sales within an office/admin environment.  
• Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal. A big part of this role is communicating with clients over the phone. 
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively while adhering to a deadline. 

Key responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage and track client bookings and requests. 
• Provide service information to customers. 
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation. 
• Collaborate with other departments such as the marketing team to assist with customer satisfaction and lead generation.

• Ability to work both autonomously and with a team.
• Well spoken and presented with clear communication skills.
• Passion for high level Customer Service. 
• Experience in a similar previous role.
