Who we are seeking:
We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused individual who is seeking a fresh challenge to assist in leading the Customer Service Team in a busy, North Adelaide bakery.
The role:
- Customer service and coffee making.
- Training of new and existing staff.
- Preparation of catering and orders.
- Ensuring that product placement allows for sales maximisation.
- Regular communication with Manager and Production Manager
Supporting the Manager by::
- Creating and driving a culture of Customer Service excellence and positive staff morale.
- Undertaking operational duties including catering orders, stock ordering, banking and rosters.
- Staff direction around daily operational duties.
- Responding to, and being a point of contact for any customer feedback
Family friendly hours! This role will be offered on a permanent basis with a minimum of 30 hours per week (full time hours available if required), paid under the General Retail Industry Award.
Essential criteria:
- Proven experience in hospitality, particularly within high volume operations.
- Outstanding Customer Service and communication skills.
- Barista experience.
- Availability to work Saturdays.
- Practical understanding of current OH&S and food handling practices.
- Reliable and timely.
Other desired criteria:
- Supervisory experience in a retail environment.
- Experience working at a retail bakery.
