About the positionWaterworld Aquatic Centre is seeking an exceptional Customer ServiceTeam Leader. We need someone driven, team-oriented and with proven experience to lead our Customer Service team. Your role will involve managing the day-to-day operations, including sales, service, and overseeing our bustling café.
You’ll also play a vital role in assisting with Duty Management responsibilities of the Centre. This includes pool lifeguarding, monitoring water quality, and pool plant room activities. If you don’t already hold these certifications, don’t worry! We’re committed to supporting you in obtaining lifeguard, pool plant and water testing qualifications, ensuring you have all the tools you need to succeed in this multifaceted role.
This position operates on a seven-day roster including weekend, early morning and evening work.
Key responsibilities are:
- Oversee daily office administration tasks, including management of the Point of Sale system and processing of invoices.
- Fulfill Duty Manager duties as necessary, ensuring smooth operations of the centre.
- Foster growth of team members through development initiatives, overseeing KPIs, conducting performance reviews and implementing structured training programs
- Cultivate strong relationships with Customer Service professionals, internally and externally, enhancing collaboration and service excellence.
- Maintain adherence to relevant standards in cafe operations.
- Contribute to the formulation and execution of business plans including assistance with budgetary allocations.
- Assist with crafting engaging content for social media platforms.
Position Description
About youThe successful applicant will have the following:
- Pool Operations certificate or the willingness to obtain.
- Provide First Aid certificate
- Pool Lifeguard Award or the willingness to obtain.
- BA certification and working with Chlorine Gas certification or willingness to obtain.
- Must have a current DHS Working with Children check or the willingness to obtain.
- Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
- Track record of leadership, not only just managing a team but inspiring them.
- Have experience in Customer Service, working with Point of Sale/database systems.
- Skills to manage a diverse array of Customer Service functions, ensuring seamless experiences for all.
- You will be experienced in setting and monitoring KPIs to ensure your team are efficient, achieve set targets and meet the community’s expectations.
