About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Customer Support Officer to join the newly formed Automated Order Entry team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of new applications, focusing on the management of customer orders, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and streamline the ordering process. As part of the role your responsibilities will include:
- Assist customers with the ordering process
- Onboard and educate customers on the portal
- Monitor and respond to open tickets of customer queries
- Troubleshoot with customers and prioritise requests
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to departmental initiatives
- Collaborate with the wider business (sales, finance, manufacturing) to ensure customers are assisted promptly
About you:
- Strong, effective and supportive communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail is crucial to detect inconsistencies, missing information, and errors in order documentation
- The ability to engage with customers to address issues, seek clarifications, and ensure they are supported through the ordering process
- Previous Customer Service/Order entry experience
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with all levels of the organisation
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and meet deadlines
- Collaborative team player who thrives in group dynamics
- Familiarity with Esker, MasterPack (MP5) is advantageous but not essential
