Qualifications & experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity or service industry customer service role
- Experience as a CSO in a Student Accommodation environment (highly desirable)
- Experience in a role with focus on wellbeing in a University/youth environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to meet time frames without compromising accuracy and customer service
- Highly motivated with a positive 'can do' attitude' and the ability to meet challenges
- Computer literate, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with StarRez property management system (highly desirable)
- Current First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
- National Police Check & Working with Children’s check (required)
On a typical day in this role, you will:
- Handle inbound & outbound resident queries via email, phone and chat
- Provide exceptional levels of customer service
- Partake in the design, development, implementation and management of the Residential Life Program
- Contribute in the creation, development and implementation of a diverse and holistic calendar of events, balancing core areas of support and resident interest
- Assist with the arrival, orientation and departure process of residents
- Providing property tours for potential residents
- Working with the site cleaning & maintenance team to ensure arriving rooms & facilities are prepared to desired standards
