About the role
The Customer Service Officer is the initial point of contact for anyone contacting or attending the Red Cross Office. The overall objective is to provide a welcoming and safe connection point and reception environment for: clients accessing services or information; volunteers and members; key partners; and the wider community seeking to connect and access services. As the first point of contact for the organisation, this role provides effective and efficient quality customer focused service, facilitates access to information and support services. The role will also provide operational and administrative support that enables Red Cross facilities and fleet to support and deliver services to stakeholders and customers in a safe, clean, effective and professionally presented environment.
What you will bringWorking knowledge and relevant experience in a reception environment or relevant experience in a Customer Services or client facing service delivery setting
Demonstrated experience working respectfully with people experiencing vulnerability
Sound knowledge and proficiency in use of software applications including databases and Microsoft suite of programs, including experience in operating Microsoft Teams telephony software
Experience in creating purchase orders and receipting invoices

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 3. Salary from $71,155.76 + superannuation + access to salary packaging.
